About the Role:
Zest is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective HSEQ policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on HSEQ best practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSEQ is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- 2 years' experience in health and safety, environmental, and/or quality in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
