Job Title: Risk and Controls Manager HR

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for driving compliance within HR environments? Do you have a deep understanding of enterprise controls and IT risk management? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Risk and Controls Manager HR.

About the Role

As a Risk and Controls Manager HR, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of controls across key people processes and systems. You will lead the development and improvement of control frameworks, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly across the business, and maintain the highest standards of risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement end-to-end Controls Framework for People systems and processes.
  • Monitor and update Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) regularly.
  • Create and track Control KPIs to ensure a robust control environment.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal and external audit teams, to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation of control self-assessments and risk management processes.
  • Support investigations related to fraud, risk, and IT controls.
  • Prepare reports for Governance and Audit Committees.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with payroll processes in large, complex organisations.
  • Expertise in internal controls documentation and compliance, including IT auditing and Sox framework.
  • Proven experience in re-engineering processes, risk mitigation, and policy formulation.
  • Excellent data interrogation skills for identifying issues, errors, and potential fraud.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence at senior levels.
