Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join their team in Lancaster. As a key member of the manufacturing and engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automation systems, including DCS, PLC/SCADA, and SRS.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems, including online measurement devices and paper machine MD & CD controls.
- Provide detailed project documentation and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
- Design and generate DCS/SIS application software and hardware to meet customer requirements.
- Minimum of three years' experience in automation systems, DCS, PLC/SCADA, and SRS.
- Relevant engineering degree (HNC/HND or Bachelor's) and experience in quality control systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
