Job Title: Owner Driver - Self-Employed

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Owner Driver to join our team at Menzies Distribution Limited. As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to our customers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load your vehicle safely and within legislation
  • Deliver parcels to our customers on time and in good condition
  • Ensure the security of the vehicle and goods during transit
  • Uplift previous day's orders and complete all documentation as per company procedure
  • Break down, allocate, and load inbound supplies
  • Keep the warehouse safe, clean, and tidy
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies
Requirements:
  1. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  2. No previous disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR)
  3. Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses and streets
  4. Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role
  5. Hardworking, positive, and flexible attitude to work
  6. Ability to undergo a background check and drug/alcohol test if successful
