About the Role

The Sparsholt College Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide academic and emotional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensure they reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including academic and emotional support
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Liaise with parents and carers to ensure EHCP requirements are met
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ALS policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience of working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
  • Good standard of education, including English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexibly, including term-time and part-time hours
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development
