Purpose of the Job:

To provide personalized support to an individual with advanced Parkinson's Disease, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own home. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily routines, preparing meals, administering medication, and engaging in various activities to promote mental and physical well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality, person-centered care that respects the individual's autonomy and dignity.
  2. Manage and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  3. Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
  4. Participate in leisure activities and hobbies with the individual, fostering social interaction and mental stimulation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A good understanding of Parkinson's Disease and its effects is essential, as is a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the individual's boundaries.
