Facilities Assistant Job Description

We are currently working with a college in Cambridge who are searching for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the facilities team in ensuring the smooth operation of the college building and site.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all building and site queries.
  • Conduct minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist with the movement of furniture and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within facilities or in a similar proactive hands-on position.
  • Hardworking and enjoys working as part of a wider team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office.

It would be beneficial if the successful candidate had a background within either plumbing or electrical works.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the facilities team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the college building and site.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
