Senior Activewear Design Professional

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Activewear Designer to join our expanding supplier to major high street brands and retailers in the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in young fashion activewear with a clear understanding of the activewear/lifestyle sector.
Key Responsibilities- Designing strong, bestselling commercial ranges of multiproduct athleisure/activewear, including joggers, sweats, tracksuits, hoodies, yoga pants, leggings, shorts, and jackets with a fashion edge.
- Staying aware of current trends and producing mood/direction boards, keeping up to date with the latest colours, concepts, and key shapes.
- Preparing designs/technical detailed packs and artwork for sampling.
- Working closely with customers' buyers and the sales team, attending buying meetings, and presenting ranges.
- Following designs from the first sample stage through to production with Account Managers and Customers.
- Overseeing a small team and contributing to their development and growth.
- At least 5 years of design experience across multi-product fashion activewear.
- Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop with strong CAD skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and design commercial, creative multi-product ranges for young fashion high street customers.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
- Great knowledge of fabric, including performance fabrics.
