Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Housekeeping Support Role. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital environment.

In this position, you will be working closely with other members of the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization and tidiness of patient areas, preparing and cleaning equipment and facilities, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.

About the Position:

This is a permanent, part-time position working 15 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £23,419.50 per annum (pro rata). You will be based at our Bournemouth Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient areas, including rooms, corridors, and public spaces
  • Preparing and cleaning equipment and facilities as required
  • Working with other members of the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues
  • Reporting any issues or concerns related to infection control, safety, or maintenance to the relevant authorities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
  • Basic knowledge of infection control principles and practices
