Litigation Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Litigation Specialist to join our team at Legal Southwest, based in Torquay. This role offers the opportunity to develop your caseload and specialist skill set in commercial litigation.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package available. You will work on fee-earning contracts, including contractual disputes, debt recovery, Consumer Rights Act 2015 disputes, professional negligence claims, and commercial disputes between business entities.

As a Litigation Specialist, you will have demonstrable experience of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), mediation, and arbitration. You should be confident in navigating clients through their disputes in a pragmatic and innovative way, showcasing your enthusiasm for the law.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• You will undertake a broad sweep of commercial litigation work, utilizing your skills and experience to provide high-quality services to clients.
• You will support the rest of the litigation department across the firm, attending clients in other offices when required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2-4 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in commercial litigation work.
• A sound understanding of the litigation discipline.
