Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Care Assessment Specialist to join our team in delivering high-quality apprenticeships and diplomas within the health and social care sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult/elderly care, including dementia and learning disabilities, with a minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience, including Senior Carer level or above. They will also hold a health and social care qualification at Level 3 or Level 5 and have experience delivering apprenticeships/diplomas and holding an assessor qualification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of Apprenticeship and Diploma learners, supporting them to achieve Health and Social Care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5 based on their competence. This includes conducting monthly progressive visits with learners and their employers, delivering effective teaching and learning sessions aligned with apprenticeship standards and best practices, assessing and submitting learner evidence in a timely manner, observing learner practice in the workplace, and promoting and safeguarding learner health and well-being.

We offer a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £23,000 (dependent on experience), along with excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, Specsavers scheme, eligibility for NUS Discount Card, £500 employee referral bonus, enhanced sick pay, and maternity reward vouchers.
