Job Title: Master Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Master Fabricator to join our team at BAE Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from drawings and guidance as required.
  • Burn and chamfer various gauges and types of plate.
  • Tack weld and short run fillet weld.
  • Accurately mark off using measuring tools.
  • Use a Dumpy level and laser plane level.
  • Correctly use grinders and associated consumables.
  • Experience in use of strong-backs and fairing aids.

Requirements:

  • Completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship or naval equivalent qualifications.
  • Experienced in fabrication.
  • Competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment.
