About the Roles

The primary responsibility of these roles will be to perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks on a large portfolio of bespoke products. The ideal candidates will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.



Key Responsibilities


  • Perform reactive maintenance tasks to resolve equipment issues
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability
  • Work on a large site with a wide range of plant and machinery
  • Support external contractors for larger jobs
  • Potentially participate in a call-out rota after an initial training period


Requirements


  • Time-served apprenticeship in electrical/maintenance or installation, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • 17th Edition certification, City & Guilds, or BTEC equivalents
  • Experience with control circuits, motors, steam presses, ovens, extruders, and general facilities equipment
  • Strong skills in pipefitting, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam, water fitting, and checks (including Legionella)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
