Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join Barchester Healthcare as a Senior Carer and Team Leader, working in a residential care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide person-centred care and support to residents, tailored to their individual needs.
  2. Lead a team of care staff, ensuring effective training, supervision, and delegation of duties.
  3. Administer and order medication as required, maintaining accurate records.
  4. Conduct regular reviews of resident care plans and risk assessments, updating as necessary.
  5. Liaise with external healthcare professionals, such as GPs and district nurses, to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, with a strong focus on leadership and decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
