About the Role

As a key member of our Leatherhead Depot team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the M25 motorway network. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to incidents and maintain the highway infrastructure, working closely with our Incident Support Unit (ISU) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend incidents and work safely in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
  • Undertake a range of maintenance tasks, including debris clearance, graffiti removal, carriageway repairs, and soft estate maintenance.
  • Implement emergency traffic management measures in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Use mobile communication devices to accurately record data and complete reports.
  • Raise awareness of potential safety issues and report them as observed.
Working Arrangements

This is a 4-on-4-off shift pattern role, which includes weekends, nights, and bank holidays. You will also be required to travel around the M25 network and between depots, as well as attend meetings, training sessions, and worksites outside your normal operational area.

Requirements
  • A UK driving license with a minimum category C (LGV Class 2).
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card.
  • A CSCS Operative Card.
  • A Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Highways Maintenance (including License to Practice {LTP}).
  • ROLO Sector Scheme 18.
  • Unit 518 (formerly unit 13) Winter Service Operations and unit 580 (formerly unit 80) Snowplough/ V blade.
  • Vehicle Marshall.
  • 12AB Impact Protection Vehicle Courses (IPV).
  • Disc cutter/abrasive wheel.
