Academic Medical Educator

In this exciting opportunity, you will play a key role in the teaching and training of undergraduate medical students, junior doctors, and other medical staff within NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Collaboration with Associate Dean: Contribute to the development and delivery of the in-house teaching programme for undergraduate medical students undertaking Psychiatry placements.
- Student Support: Lead weekly student reflective practice groups and organize clinical interview skills simulation training.
- Tutor Coordination: Coordinate fellow psychiatric resident doctors to teach students.
- Programme Development: Organize the Trust's annual A-level student work experience summer school programme.
You will also contribute to the development and delivery of the Trust's postgraduate education programme for resident doctors and other medical professionals. The role expects active participation in medical education projects under supervision from senior experts.

- Optional on-call commitment at core or higher trainee level, remunerated appropriately.
