Join Our Cyber Security Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Cyber Security team as a Degree Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us protect our customers' sensitive information and systems from cyber threats.

About the Role

As a Cyber Security Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing secure systems and networks
  • Installing and configuring operating systems, firewalls, and applications
  • Deploying and using secure Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
  • Installing and using DevOps for secure software development
  • Data analytics with Machine Learning and AI
  • Detecting and remediating cyberattacks
  • Supporting STEM activities and outreach

You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement cutting-edge security solutions, and contribute to the development of our company's security strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 x A levels (Grade A-C) (or equivalent)
  • Mandatory: Mathematics and either Physics or a Technology/Engineering subject
  • Another STEM subject
  • 5 GCSE grades 9 - 4 or grades A*-C or equivalent
  • Mandatory: English Language, Maths and a Science subject Plus 2 subjects

We will also accept a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering instead of A levels, but require attendance of the maths bridging course.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about cyber security and has a strong academic background in a relevant field.
