Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Interaction - Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry.
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities.
  • Experience working on engines would be advantageous.
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.
  • A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own.
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous).
  • Full UK Drivers License.
