About the Role:

As a Courier with Pertemps Bristol Industrial, you will be working in partnership with the Royal Mail to support their busy operation. Your day will start in the local delivery office, where you will sort and gather the mail needed for your route. You will then collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device, detailing your route and tracking your mail. Your task will be to deliver letters and parcels to your local community, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team. You will be helpful and approachable, displaying a strong sense of community as you get to know the people you meet on your round. Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and be relatively fit and healthy. You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Some previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential. You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to starting the role.

What We Offer:

Pertemps Bristol Industrial offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.58 per hour, with overtime rates of £17.19 per hour on Sundays and £18.81 per hour on Bank Holidays.

Location:

The role is based in Yate (BS37), with a 2pm start and finish time of approximately 7pm. You will work 5 days a week, between Monday and Saturday.
