Opportunity Overview

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The appointee will provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services, contributing to the acute gastroenterology on-call service, weekday daytime cover at City Hospital, and inpatient care of luminal gastroenterology patients at Queen's Medical Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care through inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
  • Contribute to the acute gastroenterology on-call service and weekday daytime cover at City Hospital.
  • Provide inpatient care for luminal gastroenterology patients at Queen's Medical Centre.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree and MRCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the GMC and entry on the specialist register via CCT or CESR.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience in teaching and supervising medical students and junior trainees.
  • Experience of undertaking audits and presenting findings.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary of £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, commensurate with experience.
