SJ Sourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SHEQ Management Specialist to join our team in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry, driving quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.



Job Description:



  • Job Title: Senior SHEQ Management Specialist
  • Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)


About You:


We are looking for a seasoned SHEQ professional with extensive experience in managing Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Management Systems. As a Senior SHEQ Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and continually improving these systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.



Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage, maintain, and improve the Company's integrated Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Management System to meet externally audited standards.
  • Take the lead role in facilitating audits from certification bodies, customers, and other interested parties.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with latest standards and regulations in the context of the business.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, liaise with interested parties, and facilitate corrective actions where necessary.
  • Keep updated with applicable SHEQ legislative changes and other interested parties related requirements.
  • Conduct SHEQ internal audits, travelling to regional offices and sites, and overseeing the delivery of corrective action outcomes.
  • Produce SHEQ-related management reports and updates to Directors and Management teams.


Requirements:



  • NEBOSH qualified and Tech-IOSH membership.
  • A SHEQ management background, and understanding of relevant legislation and standards, ideally gained from within an engineering, contracting, or manufacturing sector.
  • An ability to interpret legislative standards, specifications, and customer requests for information.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • A self-starter who can deliver results with a flexible approach to working hours to suit business needs.
