Senior Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our Worcester-based team. As a key member of our Power Systems team, you will be responsible for designing high-power density transmission technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D CAD models and layouts using Autodesk tools
  • Generate and modify designs and manage BOM data
  • Perform engineering calculations and design validation
  • Liaise with global stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Quality, customers, and suppliers
  • Conduct reviews, investigations, and testing
  • Provide conceptual and strategic solutions
  • Organise workload and potentially lead a group
  • Develop communication presentations showcasing engineering compliance and best practices
  • Participate in effective Change Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in mechanical design, preferably in medium/heavy-duty transmission design
  • Proficiency with Autodesk suite: 2D AutoCAD, 3D Inventor, and Vault is desirable
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and demonstrated time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
