Job Title: HSE Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our QSHE Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Health & Safety, and Environment (HSE) support to our ongoing operations and project support in accordance with both ISO 45001 & 14001.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the company safety management system, environmental management system.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigating them.
  • Manage and respond to safety and environmental incidents, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coach and mentor other safety/compliance staff within the team.
  • Participate in various process safety studies/activities, such as PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, PSSR, SIMOPs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys.
  • Perform factory site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace incidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Safety, and environmental discipline (science or engineering), and/or another engineering discipline from a recognised and accredited program.
  • Internal auditor qualification in Health and Safety, and environmental discipline.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey safety and environmental policies, procedures, and training to personnel at all levels.
