As a Senior Firmware Development Lead, you will be responsible for designing firmware and embedded software for our product lines, providing technical guidance to team members, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop firmware and embedded software for our products, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, software development, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Must have a degree or similar qualification in Electronics Engineering or a comparable subject.
  • Proven experience in embedded firmware design, development, and testing, with a strong understanding of EMC design and test principles.
  • Good exposure to design validation processes, including FMEA and DFM.
  • Experience in creating supporting design documentation, development reports, Bill of Materials (BoM), and build packs.
  • Experience with firmware unit, integration, and system testing.
