Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a small village school in Weston-Super-Mare. As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to support the year 3 class, providing individualized attention and adapting activities to meet the needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality education to year 3 students
  • Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to provide individualized support
  • Assist in setting up resources and adapting activities to meet the needs of each learner
  • Communicate effectively with the Class Teacher to assess student progress and development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
