About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Meteorologist to join our team as a Clean Energy Specialist. As a key member of our weather forecasting team, you will be responsible for creating and improving weather forecasts for our portfolios across Europe based on a wide range of numerical weather forecasts and statistical models.

The successful candidate will contribute to daily trading decisions by analysing latest weather forecasts and doing analogue analysis based on historical weather data. You will also integrate applied research into weather forecasting and atmospheric predictability, visualise and communicate weather variations on different spatial and temporal scales using multiple weather forecast products.

In addition, you will develop statistical arbitrage strategies for power and gas markets based on insights into mid-range weather evolution.
