Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT Services group, you will design, build, and maintain robust data systems to efficiently collect, store, process, and analyze large volumes of data.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop scalable and adaptable data solutions that can evolve with the company's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
  • Develop and enforce data governance practices to ensure data integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with broader IT and business objectives.
  • Apply machine learning techniques and data mining processes to enhance data processing capabilities and extract valuable insights.
  • Ensure secure coding practices to protect sensitive information and comply with security protocols.
  • Support change and transformation initiatives by developing flexible and scalable data solutions.
  • Design and manage database structures that support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of data strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and digital transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • You must have experience with DevOps practices, data governance frameworks, requirements analysis, machine learning, data mining, and strategic thinking.
  • Expertise in designing and managing data warehouses that support large-scale data analysis is essential.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality data systems in complex, regulated environments is required.
  • Strong skills in designing and managing database structures that ensure efficient data storage and retrieval are necessary.
  • Knowledge of risk management and control measures specific to data systems in a financial context is desirable.
