Wayman Education is looking for a Year 5 teacher. This is an opportunity to work within an inviting primary school in a supportive environment. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum.

  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children and focusing on individual learning targets.
  • Developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.

Responsibilities of a Year 5 teacher:

  • As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2.
  • Teaching and supporting students in a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
  • Developing your skills as a teacher while contributing to the growth and development of the school.

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
  • Passionate about learning and education.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
