Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a Finance Director to lead our finance department and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Director of Finance at external meetings when necessary.
  • Lead projects within finance as required, including developing project plans and seeing them through to completion.
  • Work with the Director of Finance on costings and service development.
  • Input into Financial Risk Management, policies and processes.
  • Manage the payroll processing for the organisation.
  • Complete Month End Management Accounts, to include liaising with services around management account information requirements, reviewing posting and reconciliation within the finance team, and supporting finance assistants and assistant accountants with the month end process.
  • Provide financial support to services as required, including holding budget meetings with service managers and working with services/departments to ensure finance processes remain fit for purpose.

Requirements:

  • Accountant qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • 2 years' demonstrable experience in finance business partnership working with budget holders across an organisation to help their understanding of financial information, producing finance reports and data for senior staff within an organisation, and competence using Microsoft Excel, experience in reviewing and implementing improvements to existing finance processes.

Benefits:

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Belfast, with some travel required within Northern Ireland.
