The Role

We're seeking an experienced Health and Environmental Governance Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus excellent corporate benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality HS&E support to site teams, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
  2. Liaise with local customers and third-party organizations as necessary.
  3. Develop and implement risk-based training schedules and HS&E management assurance plans.
  4. Deliver robust reporting processes for predictive health, safety, and environmental risk assessments.
  5. Support accident/incident investigations and maintain essential contract compliance documentation.
Requirements
  • A passion for health and safety, with experience in regulated workplace environments.
  • Membership of a related professional organization (e.g., IOSH) at a graduate or chartered level.
  • An appropriate qualification in Fire Risk Assessment/Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage workload and prioritize according to risk.
