Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser

Join Montu, a leading cannabis company, in a unique opportunity to support the supply of CMBP in a specialist private pharmacy.

This role involves working alongside specialist clinical pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients. As a pharmacy dispenser, you will be responsible for receiving and validating prescriptions, processing patient information, and supporting the responsible pharmacist and technicians in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and validating prescriptions for clinical checks
  • Processing patient information accurately
  • Supporting the responsible pharmacist and technicians in daily operations
  • Being the first point of contact for pharmacy queries
  • Maintaining relevant records for CMBP supply
  • Maintaining stock and security of CMBP on site
  • Communicating prescriptions to the Department of Health to meet regulatory requirements
  • Supporting governance in the pharmacy to ensure safe operations

Requirements:

  • UK qualified pharmacy dispenser
  • Ideal candidate has undertaken a CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational program
  • Self-motivated individual with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in pharmacy dispensary, either primary or secondary environment
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals
  • Professional, ethical, and committed to providing excellent customer care
  • Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications
