Job Description:

Smart DCC is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Shift Lead to join its critical Operations team. This permanent role is based in Manchester and offers a competitive salary plus benefits.

The successful candidate will provide continuous monitoring of the DCC total system, managing, leading and developing a team of Technical Operations Centre Analysts to deliver an optimal service. A proactive approach to continuous improvement is crucial, with a focus on working closely with stakeholders to enhance monitoring capabilities.

This role requires previous IT, network or application support experience, preferably in a Technical Operations Centre or Network Operations Centre environment. The ability to quantify and validate observed impact is essential. As a key point of contact for DCC's customers and senior management, you will have awareness of the company's commercial position within the industry to protect and maintain Smart DCC's reputation.

Your responsibilities will include supporting junior team members with training, escalations and skills development, as well as collaborating with internal functions and Service Providers to continually refine DCC's monitoring capability. You will also be responsible for promptly communicating and escalating issues and incidents to ITIL functions.

This role involves working a shift pattern over 365x7x24 to ensure departmental cover is always in place, with some inter-site travel and work outside regular shifts required subject to business needs. You must hold current valid Security Clearance or be willing to undergo Security clearance.

A competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum is offered, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
