About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and/or Instrumentation Expert to join our team at Belcan Workforce Solutions.

The successful candidate will work on a 12-month contract, providing full-time on-site support within an IR35 framework.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and comment on work performed by contractors and subcontractors.
  2. Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements.
  3. Provide technical information and steward discipline engineering queries from contractors and subcontractors.
  4. Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locations.
  5. Analyse maintenance records to determine instrument failure rates, availability, and reliability calculations.
  6. Develop and execute process control surveillance programs.
  7. Collect and trend process data.
  8. Perform process control philosophy and stability reviews.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty.
  2. Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
  3. Able to review, evaluate, and update cause and effect diagrams and control narratives.
  4. Experience in selection, application, and ISA data sheet specification of hardware.
  5. Proficient in data collection and analysis with common database and software tools.
Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
