Social Value Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Social Value Strategist to drive social value performance across our portfolio of work. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and leading a social value strategy and development plan that aligns with client objectives and identifies opportunities to enhance positive social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of social value strategies and monitoring its performance
- Manage the social value input into PQQ and Tender questions and support the development of social value related responses
- Chair a Transportation Social Value Forum to drive change and develop actions
- Represent the business unit on Group, Client and RSSB forums/working groups
- Lead author on MIMs' Policy Procedures and Guidance
- Manage compliance with current applicable legislation like Social Value Act 2012 and standards relating to social and environmental responsibility
- Foster a culture of social responsibility within the organisation
- Establish and implement robust metrics/KPIs and evaluation methods to measure the social impact of frameworks and projects activities
- Develop methods to collect, organize, and interpret data to identify patterns and trends
- Advocate for the third sector and promote Vocational, Community & Social Enterprises (VCSEs)
- Maintain the Giving Back Calendar and develop its content
- Complete regional Needs Assessments and keep these up to date with local master plans
