We are offering a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum for this role, along with a range of benefits, including a Profit Related Pay scheme, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced team in providing top-notch generator servicing and maintenance solutions to our clients. As a Generator Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our generators, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and performing repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in on-site activities, working independently or with a team to meet customer expectations and achieve company goals.
  • Cover all generator servicing aspects, including oil and filter changes, and oil, fuel, and coolant sampling.
  • Conduct load bank testing on generator units and accurately fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Work on various generator/engine brands, including Cummins, Perkins, Caterpillar, and Volvo.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in generator services or the power generation industry.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS card.
  • Ability to manage workload, establish priorities, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to solve problems, be self-motivated, and learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to undertake further training.
  • Ability to liaise with customers professionally.
