Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Production and Supply Chain Manager to join our team in South Shields. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment and general procurement, production planning, and building strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Purchase Order progress through regular Supplier meetings and factory visits.
  • Update and maintain M3 (Business System) to reflect accurate Purchase Order data.
  • Review POBE to ensure key sales priorities are expedited with Suppliers & freight options are maximised.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are delivered 'on time' to maximise Customer Order fulfilment.
  • Maintain PO plans to reflect true delivery position including capacity constraints, factory closures, holidays, transportation lead times etc.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate should have 5 years' experience in garment and general procurement.
  • Experience of Production Planning.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive high performance.
  • Ideal candidate should also have experience dealing with 'offshore' suppliers.
  • High level of numeracy skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience of creating formulas and pivot tables.
  • Competent level of IT packages: Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships internally and externally of the department.
  • High level of attention to detail to provide accurate information first time.
  • Time Management skills to enable effective prioritisation and decision making.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Able to prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Ability to work independently within a small team.
  • Flexibility to travel overseas if needed.
