About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in East and West Sussex. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the life they choose and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their daily routine and activities, including cooking, gardening, and social events.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, ensuring the individual's dignity and well-being are maintained.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of individuals with learning disabilities.
