About the Role

As a senior advisor in health and safety, you will be responsible for supporting the Health & Safety Managers and the Head of Health & Safety at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

You will work across the organisation with some freedom to act and interpretation of legislation/policy/procedures, ensuring that Health & Safety effectively contributes to the corporate objectives and strategic direction of the Health Board.

The ideal candidate will have expert/specialist knowledge in the area of Health & Safety and experience of working in an occupational health & safety role.

We are looking for someone who can assist the Health & Safety Manager to ensure the organisation's defined arrangements for the management of health & safety are being carried out.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000, across North Wales.
