Job Title: HGV Vehicle Technician

About the Role
Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking an experienced HGV Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a fleet of 50+ HGVs (7.5 and 18 tonne).

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs to ensure they are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on HGVs, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high levels of productivity.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve workshop targets and goals.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HGV Vehicle Technician, with a strong understanding of HGV mechanics and repair techniques.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, to meet the needs of the business.
