Job Title: Commercial and Regulatory Legal Counsel

Lenovo is seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Regulatory Legal Counsel to join our Solutions and Services (SSG) Legal Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising on all legal requirements related to new services and solution development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Advise the Services Team on regulatory and commercial legal issues.
  2. Provide legal support for Lenovo teams developing new services, software, and solutions.
  3. Assist with the development of new solutions and services to facilitate sales across SSG and oversee their global rollout.
  4. Work closely with Lenovo's lawyers and services teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Engage in issue-spotting and involve legal subject matter experts from the broader corporate-level Lenovo Legal Department.
  6. Draft standard templates for new solutions and services.
  7. Collaborate with the COE to establish a template library for all services to ensure they can be easily found and maintained.
  8. Establish a clear engagement process between legal and service development teams.
Requirements:
  1. 8+ years' experience in corporate/commercial legal work.
  2. Law Degree, JD or equivalent.
  3. Experience advising on the establishment of new solutions and services, SaaS, software development.
  4. Experience in a national or global law firm, or experience as in-house commercial counsel in a global technology company.
  5. Ability to advise leadership within the company, exercising sound business and legal judgment.
  6. Ability to anticipate, proactively manage and mitigate legal risks; and effectively advise on risk management and mitigation.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects, including transactional work and strategic projects, and set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global work environment.
