Job Overview
BAE Systems seeks an experienced Elevator Operator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a maritime and facilities environment, utilizing various lifting equipment. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.

About the Role
The Elevator Operator will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, plant, and accessories are in good condition and safe to use. They will also complete administrative tasks, including risk assessments and pre-use check sheets.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment, plant, and accessories
* Complete administrative tasks, including risk assessments and pre-use check sheets
* Assist in creating lifting plans and schedules

Requirements
* NVQ 2/3 or equivalent qualifications/experience
* CPCS/NPORS or equivalent
* Understanding of LOLER, PUWER, BS7121
* Experience of general lifting operations using various lifting equipment in a maritime and facilities environment
