We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our procurement service, you will play a vital role in driving collaborative procurement and commercial support across the region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and staff within the B&NES Swindon and Wiltshire Acute Hospital Alliance. You will be responsible for supporting the Transactional Procurement Manager in leading and developing the invoice team, ensuring an efficient and high-quality service is delivered to all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to travel to various Trusts in Bath, Swindon, or Salisbury and will split their time across the organisations accordingly. This hybrid role offers 2-3 days in the office, providing a great balance between work and personal life.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Transactional Procurement Manager in leading and developing the invoice team.
  • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure an efficient and high-quality service is delivered to all stakeholders.

You will be a self-starter, tenacious, and adaptable individual with excellent relationship management skills. You will champion the Procurement Vision while delivering the aims of the numerous divisions you will be working with. Suitable academic qualifications, experience of finance systems, and systems and data analysis skills are essential for this role.

This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check. The salary for this position is £26,530 to £29,114 per annum pro rata if part-time.
