Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join CV Library as a Quality Assurance Manager and lead the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with BRC standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the HACCP team to develop and review HACCP plans.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate labelling and date coding on site.
  • Ensure timely completion of GMP paperwork.
  • Train employees on new procedures and systems related to BRC implementation.
  • Lead TACCP and VACCP teams to assess and mitigate risks.
  • Administer customer complaints and investigate root causes.
  • Maintain product safety and composition in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Conduct investigations into out-of-specification results from chemical and microbiological testing.
  • Manage shelf life sampling, product reviews, and benchmarking activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BRC standards for technical requirements such as Pest Control and calibration.
  • Evaluate and improve QMS to ensure compliance with new BRC standards and customer requirements.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in a QA role with a food manufacturing business.
  • Possession of Level 4 Food Safety qualification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Able to read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and EU regulations.
Salary and Benefits

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
