We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Commercial, Rights & Business Affairs (CRBA) team as a Chartered Manager Degree Apprentice. This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain a broad range of graduate and professional skills while working in a dynamic business environment.

The role involves reflecting on your experiences of business management practice to produce and apply new understanding and skills in the workplace. You will work closely with our experienced team members to develop operational strategies, manage projects, and analyze business finance. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will study for your industry-recognized BSc (Hons) degree in Management Practice and Maths and English if not previously achieved.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue career opportunities within the BBC or other organizations, such as business coordinator or business advisor.

This fixed-term contract scheme starts in September 2025 and offers a competitive salary of £21,840 (+ £5,318 London Living Allowance). In addition to this, you will receive industry-leading training through the BBC Academy and our learning providers, a dedicated Team Manager and Scheme Specialist, and training and mentoring by industry professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the BBC and how people consume content, be enthusiastic, self-starting, flexible, and adaptable to out-of-hours working.   • To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
  • Be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts;
  • Be eligible to work in the UK full-time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract;
  • Not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organization;
  • Not have completed or hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject, Business and/or Management at level 5 or higher;
  • To complete the apprenticeship, you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
