Your Role

As a Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for providing high-quality care and education. Your primary objective will be to ensure that every child receives the best possible start in life, through a commitment to quality, safety, and excellence.

You will work closely with our Regional Director, Finance, and Marketing teams to identify commercial opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth within the nursery. This may involve working with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to build relationships and secure new partnerships.

In addition to your commercial responsibilities, you will be expected to manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including supervising staff, monitoring budgets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners will be essential in achieving these goals.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification and significant experience in a leadership position within the sector. You should also have a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, with a focus on quality improvement, innovation, and service excellence.

A confident decision-maker with strong communication skills, you will be able to support change and navigate complex relationships between business/commerce and service excellence within a regulated setting. You should also have a deep understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
