Job Title

A dynamic and experienced Lawyer is required to support the rapidly growing transportation businesses in Europe.

This exciting opportunity allows you to shape the regulatory strategy for our transportation businesses across Europe. As a key advisor, you will work closely with business leaders, navigating the complex and evolving legal landscape. You will be responsible for providing effective legal advice on transportation regulations, applicable employment laws, and other EU and national legislation.

  1. You will develop and implement robust regulatory advice to support new transportation projects and business opportunities.
  2. Crafting business-centric solutions to challenges and resolving issues that arise during regulatory interactions.
  3. Advising leadership on strategic matters and identifying potential risk areas.
  4. Establishing processes that mitigate risk while preserving business agility.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Qualified Lawyer with excellent academic credentials and a minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
  2. Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Professional fluency in German, written and spoken.
  2. Experience advising on and ensuring compliance with EU regulations, particularly in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  3. A mix of regulatory and transactional experience.
  4. High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Amazon is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity in the workplace.
