About the Role

As a Technical Product Evaluator at UKAS, you will be responsible for assessing construction products against regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise and contribute to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of construction products, including pre-cast concrete products, clay and ceramic products, glass products, and other specialized areas.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 17065, ISO 17020, and ISO 17021.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of assessment services.

Requirements
  • Minimum BSc or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Material Science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in commercial testing laboratories or civil engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
