School Nurse Locality Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Nurse to lead our locality team in promoting health and wellbeing among school-aged children and young people in the Royal Borough of Kingston.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of skilled staff to deliver evidence-based activities and interventions to promote health and wellbeing.
- Assess health needs and implement planned programs of care for safeguarded children and delegate work to appropriately skilled team members.
- Work collaboratively with the wider School Health team and 0-19 service to influence practice and development.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, such as clinical audit and research.
- Mentor and supervise school health staff and students.
- Registered Nurse with Specialist Practitioner Community Public Health Nurse Qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience in School Health and Health Visiting or equivalent community role.
- Educated to degree level.
- Practice assessor.
- Full DBS disclosure and valid driving license required.
