We are seeking a skilled Treasury Operations Manager to join Empirical Search Limited's team in [Location]. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the treasury team by managing various responsibilities including treasury systems, processes, reporting, cash management & forecasting, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will prepare daily bank and cash position reports, focusing on accuracy and timeliness. This includes managing investments, FX, and other operational treasury reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strategic placement of excess funds will be your responsibility, involving research and analysis to maximize returns while minimizing risk. You will leverage your knowledge of money markets deposits and fixed-term investments to drive growth and profitability.
  • In close collaboration with Finance and business stakeholders, you will develop a comprehensive short-term liquidity forecast, proactively identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • You will support the implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
  • Bank mandate management, payment systems, and access rights to treasury systems will fall under your purview as a system administrator, requiring you to balance security and compliance.
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and routine bank queries or requests will demand your attention, emphasizing the importance of regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • To optimize efficiency, you will review and maintain the bank and bank account structure across the group, driving cost savings and process improvements.
  • Treasury reports will be prepared for internal stakeholders, the banking group, shareholders, and third parties, highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Purchase orders for Treasury & Insurance related invoices will be raised and monitored under your supervision, ensuring timely settlement and cash flow management.
  • You will design and implement dashboard reporting for the CFO and Treasury Committee, distilling complex data into actionable insights.
  • Internal and external audit workstreams will be managed by you, upholding regulatory standards and expectations.
  • Your expertise will guide internal stakeholders in matters of treasury advice, promoting collaboration and innovative solutions.

An internationally recognized professional accountancy qualification (Chartered Accountant or similar) and/or Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) is essential. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate treasury function is required for this position.
