Business Tutor Opportunity at HMP Thameside

Our client, a leading offender learning provider, is seeking a Business Tutor to join their team at HMP Thameside in London. This permanent role offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on learners' lives by helping them acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to start and run their own businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality business lessons focused on entrepreneurship and self-employment
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
  • Assess learners' needs and develop individualized learning plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
Requirements:
  • A teaching qualification or equivalent subject specialist qualification
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Prior experience working with offenders and delivering training on entrepreneurship and self-employment
  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
